Ideally you want to store your flies after they have thoroughly dried. On the exterior there is a mesh pouch for drying. The inside of the cover is lined with foam and with the wallet closed, flies stored here will wick moisture. Do not put damp flies into the “air tight” pages. Use paper punch to “hole” the page to allow the pages to deflate and keep the wallet thinner.
