These are high quality (made in the USA) plastic beads from “Trout Beads”. I offer these due to their long-lasting glow. I use them as spacers to set the hook farther back on Tube Flies. They are also useful ahead of a fly to add distance between the disc and fly. At depths below 35’ available light drops off dramatically. A bit of glow makes the fly more noticeable.

These beads can glow for up to 8 hours with a good charge from the sun. UV lights charge the beads well as does a strong flashlight. A minimum 2 minute charge is recommended for maximum glow duration.
