A 4-inch tube fly pattern to mimic immature squid.

These flies are tied with glow in the dark materials which makes them very bright when fished shallow in clear water and they emit light when fished at depths where light is decreased. Either shallow or deep these flies are built to be seen! Chartreuse in my experience is a salmon attracting color which is why I chose to include it with UV White in this fly series. I have caught multiple species of salmon, rock fish and halibut with this fly.

I recommend using “Glow Beadz” with these tube flies. These are the highest quality “Glow in the Dark” beads I could find for brightness and length of time that they give off light. The beads can be added as spacers to move the hook farther back to the end of the fly’s tail where salmon typically bite. I also use these beads on the line ahead of the fly to create a longer fly and to move the Action Disc up the line to change the action of the fly.
