When I purchased the rights to the JAY FAIR Trolling Fly brand there were 2 of the original Jay Fair Trolling Rods in the Sierra Stream & Mountain retail shop. I purchased both and fished with them. The originals were built from 6 Weight Powell fly rods which are no longer available. The 9’ fly rod blanks were cut down to 7’ and built as conventional trolling rods.
