Mini Kokanee Tube Fly Flo. Chartreuse
Chartreuse is the salmon color in fresh water. This is my first choice for landlocked king salmon in Lake Oroville CA. The size of this 1.75” fly is close to the young pond smelt in summer.

Miniature Arctic Fox Tube Fly in Flo. Chartreuse with green “Angel Hair” flash. The tandem hook rig is assembled with 10# P-Line mono and red #4 Gamakatsu Octopus hooks.
The inspiration for these flies has been the frustration with melted puddles of goop that result from heated plastic hootchies. These fox fur tube flies are much more durable than plastic hootchies. The green “Angel Hair” flash provides excellent reflection of available light. Each fly is packaged with 2 beads of matching color. You can rig the fly with the beads in front of or behind the tube fly.
