A trolling line based on 3 colors of lead-core, designed to fish from 5’ to 30’ deep. With half a color of lead-core in the water this line will troll a fly as deep as a “TOP-LINE”, but only 85’ behind the boat.. The Mid-Line will cross underneath the Top-Line when turning. The depth is varied by the speed of the boat and amount of lead line in the water. With all three colors of lead core in the water, as well as a dozen feet of backing, the line will troll at 15-to-18-foot depth at 1.5 to 2.0 mph. To reach the 30’ depth take your boat out of gear and drift to a stop. Your 90’ of lead line will settle to past the 30’ depth. Then accelerate your boat and you fly will rise up through a number of zones. By starting and stopping to can present your fly at depths below the 15’ to 18’ range.
